How this gets made
Every call on every card is mine. The top pick, the conviction tier, the horse I'm against, the wager construction — that's my judgment, and I own it whether it works or not.
The inputs are mine too. I read the past performances, the Ragozin sheet numbers, the Beyer figures, the morning workout reports from multiple clocking desks, the trainer and jockey patterns, and the day's track conditions. I go to the track. I watch horses in the paddock and take my own trip notes.
I use AI as a working tool in that process. It helps me organize a card's worth of data quickly, cross-check my reads against my own stated rules, and tighten the writing so a full card gets published before post time rather than after the third race. It does not decide which horse I like.
The distinction that matters: the analysis is mine, the assist is with the workload. A spreadsheet doesn't handicap a race and neither does this.
I'm telling you because you'd want to know, and because a publication whose entire premise is showing its reasoning would be a strange place to hide something.
The method is written down
The rules I handicap by are documented, and they change only when a result forces them to. When a card exposes a flaw in the method, I publish the flaw and the fix in that day's review. Those revisions are part of what you're subscribing to.
If the reasoning behind a call ever seems thin to you, say so. I'd rather be pushed on a bad read than agreed with politely.
What this is not
This is analysis and commentary. It is not betting advice, and it is not a service that takes or places wagers.
No wagers are accepted, placed, or facilitated here. I don't hold anyone's money, I don't book action, and I have no financial interest in any horse, stable, trainer, or outcome discussed. Nobody pays me for coverage. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page where it happens.
No promises about results
There is no system that beats horse racing. Anyone selling you one is selling you something worse than picks.
What's here is a method applied consistently, a record kept in public including the losses, and honest reporting when it doesn't work. Past results — mine or anyone's — do not predict future ones. Some days the reads land. Some days they don't, and you'll read about those days here too.
Every subscriber makes their own decisions with their own money. Bet only what you can afford to lose, and never bet more because someone sounded confident. Including me.
